In its thirty years Cornelia Street has won numerous awards both for its food and for its performances. As early as 1980 Calvin Trillin profiled it glowingly in the New Yorker. As recently as last December, Downbeat Magazine, the jazz bible, named it "one of the 100 great jazz clubs of the world."

Claudia Burbank is the recipient of a 2003 Fellowship from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts as well as a Pushcart Prize nomination. Her recent poems appear in Prairie Schooner, Southern Poetry Review, New York Quarterly, and 42opus. Her poem "Googling Myself I Discover I Am a Victim of Hurricane Katrina" was chosen by Alice Quinn to win Inkwell's Poetry Competition.
